In the last few years the popularity of rave lights have increased tremendously in the United States.  The trend is quickly spreading out to many other countries in Europe as well as in South America and is slowly being accepted as a form of dance or art.

Getting yourself the best lights available can increase the quality of your lightshows immensly.  Just four years ago your only options were solid color Photon Lights from LRI, but now there are thousands of LED bulbs to choose from and tons of cases.  Choosing your favorite lights is purely personal prefrence, but lets discuss some of the casing options.

One of the newest and most popular case is the Micromax lights.  It is the smallest chipped led light on the market and you have the ability to choose between 6 different chips, each chip control the bulb in a different way and allows you to get several different outputs.  The Micromax allows you to scroll through several different modes including everything for one color strobes, the 3 color tracers.

The cheapest light on the market is the Dotz 2.  This light features a keychain loop and is great for Orbits.  The Dotz 2 light features a single mode chip, which means the chip sends a constant steady amount of elecricity to the bulb which causes to bulb to act as it was designed; for example, and RGB strobe will just strobe continuously in an RGB pattern.  The Dotz 2 also offers and amazing click-on, click-off button.  Turning these lights on and off is super easy and fast which also makes these gloves great for conjuring.

The iMax and iMax Genesis Lights are by far the smallest and most powerful light on the market.  The iMax chips fit inside of a Micromax casing.  You can program these lights to do do just about anything.  First, you select order you would like the colors (out of 13 options!) to appear, and then you can choose between 7 amazing modes.  These lights do cost a little more, but you are replacing thousands of lights with just one technologically advanced chip.

No matter what rave lights you choose you will be on a quick path to becoming lightshow royalty.  Choose your favorite led bulb colors, choose your favorite casings, and start practicing!
